Daniel is a 17 year old boy whose parents have big dreams for him. They expect him to go to Yale and become a doctor. His brother Charlie was kicked out of Harvard, so now the pressure is on him. His parents also expect him to fall in love with a Korean girl, but he loves Natasha, a Jamaican girl. He wants to be a poet and loves feelings/the power of words. When he meets Natasha, she changes his world. However, the news that she is being deported in less than 12 hours tears him apart.
